■ Talk: ‘A World with Rivers, Lakes & Possibly Even Life’

The mysterious, atmospheric Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, is the topic of a free lecture to be given from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight (March 9) by NASA planetary scientist Chris McKay. The talk is in Smithwick Theatre at Foothill College, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills. ■ Art: Tiepolo drawings

Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center has a new exhibition of drawings by the Venetian artist Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo (1727–1804) on display through May. The free exhibition is off Palm Drive on Museum Way. Works on display, done in pen and wash with some over black chalk, depict New Testament scenes.
