• Art talk: ‘Playing with Time and Memory’

Brazilian media artist Felipe Pereira Barros, Irish writer Eilis Ni Dhuibhne, and San Jose visual artist Emanuella Harris-Sintamarian will give a free 7 p.m. lecture tomorrow (July 15) at the Palo Alto Art Center, 1313 Newell Road, Palo Alto. The talk is part of a series of talks exploring artists’ creative process, and features participants from the Djerassi Resident Artists Program near Woodside. • Music: Mountain View Summer Concert Series

Tomorrow (July 15) from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the cover party band Pop Fiction gives a free concert in Cuesta Park at 615 Cuesta Drive in Mountain View. Audience members typically bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on. The concert is part of a city series that runs through Aug. 19 in city parks and on Castro Street downtown.
