Sophomore Aline Krauter recorded six birdies during Tuesday's second round and now sits in a tie for fifth at 4-under for the tournament. As a team, Stanford remains in fifth (+1) at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview in Hawai'i with one round remaining on Wednesday. UCLA leads the event at 13-under par.
Krauter, who began the day in a tie for 13th, had two birdies in the first four holes, before a bogey and a birdie back-to-back. She has 11 birdies through two rounds, most in the field. Her 3.82 (-4) scoring average on par 4's this week also tops the field .
Angelina Ye (+1, 72-75) was named Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month for October to begin the day Tuesday. She ended it in 20th place.
Calista Reyes (+2, 74-74) is in 23rd after making four birdies and five bogeys in the round. She has played the par 5's at 3-under through two rounds, one of the best scores in the tournament on such holes.
Ziyi Wang (+2, 76-72) moved into a tie for 23rd after four birdies and three bogeys in the round. All four birdies came in a seven-hole stretch.
Mika Liu (+6, 77-75) is in 34th. She has 24 pars through two rounds, tied for 10th-most in the field.
