PUBLIC AGENDA: Vote on transportation work plan; Cubberley lease negotiations

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of Oct. 7.

CITY COUNCIL ... The council plans to hold a study session with the Stanford Research Park Transportation Management Association. The council also plans to establish the Southgate Residential Preferential Parking Program as a permanent program, with some modifications; direct staff to negotiate new lease terms for Cubberley Community Center; approve the staff work plan to address the "Transportation and Traffic" priority; and approve the city's positions for the 2019 League of California Cities resolutions. The council will then go into closed session to discuss the performance evaluation of City Manager Ed Shikada. The study session will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. The rest of the meeting will follow at 6 p.m. or as soon as possible after the study session. HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION ... The commission plans to meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, in the Community Meeting Room at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. View the full agenda here.
