Webcast: The rise of pickleball

USA Pickleball Association ambassador looks at local popularity of paddle sport

Monica Williams, president of the Palo Alto Pickleball Club, joins Weekly staff for a discussion about the city's fastest-growing sport, pickleball, and ongoing efforts to build more courts and attract more players. Williams led a yearslong effort to add more pickleball courts at Mitchell Park, which is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving.
