Stanford University deputies are searching for a man who groped a woman leaving a concert at Frost Amphitheater on Wednesday night, according to Department of Public Safety staff.
The woman was waiting to cross the street at the corner of Lausen Street and Campus Drive East, about a block away from Palm Drive around 10:25 p.m., when the man came from behind and grabbed her buttocks, according to an alert issued Wednesday night. The man then walked away to a parking lot on Galvez Street.
The sexual battery occurred after a concert by electronic music duo Odesza.
Deputies were called to the scene and searched the area for the man, who wasn't found, the alert said. He is described as a white man in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall, weighing around 180 pounds and with blond hair. He wore a black shirt and black shorts.
