'Learning to Fly': owl photography on view in Menlo Park

Atherton photographer Larry Calof's photography of owls and other birds, "Learning to Fly," is on view at the Portola Art Gallery (Allied Arts Guild, 75 Arbor Road, Menlo Park) through June 30.

"In my wildlife photography, I try to find an emotional connection with my subjects. In my landscape photography, I look for light and angles to add magical or mystical perspectives to my images," Calof stated in a press release.

The gallery is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, visit Portola Art Gallery.
