'Night Shift: A Jewish Cultural Experience' comes to Town & Country Village after hours

Art installations, interactive workshops, music, food and more will be offered as part of "Night Shift," a multidisciplinary festival celebrating the holiday of Shavuot on Saturday, June 8.

Shavuot is a holiday celebrating Jewish culture and literacy. The event is open to people of all backgrounds.

Palo Alto's Oshman Family JCC and the Tel Aviv-based BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change are co-presenting the event, which "represents the launch of cultural Jewish programming with communal, learning and social justice components made popular in Israel and through OFJCC-based programming," according to a press release from the JCC.

Activities will take place at various shops at Town & Country Village, including Ayelet Babka, Prana, Bar Method, Aiken, Books Inc. and Tin Pot Creamery and will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight. Novelist Nicole Krauss will speak at 8 p.m. and jazz band Sammy Miller and The Congregation will perform at 11 p.m.

Tickets are $36 and more information is available at paloaltojcc.com.
