Prep report: Kehillah Jewish finds way to beat Design Tech

Guy Manor and David Kelmar combined to score 10 of Kehillah Jewish's 14 third-quarter points to help the Rams break open a close game en route to a 48-33 victory over visiting Design Tech in a PSAL North Division contest at OFJCC Gym in Palo Alto on Monday.

Kehillah Jewish (10-6, 6-4) returns to OFJCC Gym to host Summit Prep at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

In a SCVAL De Anza Division contest, host Gunn dropped a 41-39 decision to Cupertino. The Titans (7-13, 1-8) travel to Los Gatos for a league game at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Menlo rolled to a 4-1 win over visiting Priory in a West Bay Athletic League match Monday.

The Knights got on the board first when senior Jony Ebrahimian converted a pass from Christian Corcoran, who later scored on an assist from senior Ben Lasky.

In the second half, Lasky scored on a feed from Connor Nelson and Aaron Morgan followed with the final score.

Gunn sneaked past visiting Monta Vista, 1-0, in a Santa Clara Valley Athletic League El Camino Division contest on Monday night to stay on the heels of league leader Los Altos (9-5-1, 9-1), which travels to Valley Christian for a 3:15 p.m. nonleague match Tuesday.

The Titans (8-7-2, 7-2) travel to Milpitas for a 6 p.m. league match Wednesday.
