Menlo College men's wrestlers were named Under Armour Team of the Week and the Cascade Collegiate Conference also named Anthony Orozco Wrestler of the Week on Monday.
Orozco won the Outstanding Heavyweight Wrestler of the Menlo Invitational after winning all four of his matches, including three against NCAA opponents as Menlo won its Invitational for the first time and won its second tournament.
Orozco received a bye and an injury default victory in the 184 bracket before 10-2 and 8-2 wins to advance to the championship match against San Francisco State's Justin Pichedwatana.
The match went to overtime and Orozco earned the victory with a late takedown in the first overtime period for a 5-3 decision.
The second-ranked junior from Murrieta won his third title and is currently 16-1 on the season.
An addition to the tournament, Orozco also pinned Eastern Oregon's Dino May at 4:39 of Menlo's 41-9 victory Friday. The Oaks (4-0) also beat Simpson in a dual meet Friday.
Orozco is the reigning Menlo College Don Baike Male Athlete of the Year after winning the CCC title at 174 pounds and earning All-American honors. He finished 26-6 last season.
Menlo hosts No. 6 Embry-Riddle at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
