The Menlo girls’ golf team recovered quite nicely from last week’s setback to West Bay Athletic League leader Harker with a overpowering 199-297 victory over The King’s Academy at Sunnyvale Muni on Monday.
The Knights (9-2) will do it all over again Tuesday, hosting Notre Dame Belmont (1-8) at the Palo Alto Golf and Country Club at 3:30 p.m.
Gianna Inguagiato scored an even-par 35 for medalist honors. Fellow juniors Vikki Xu shot a 38 and Sulwen Ma had a 39. Freshman Taylor Baik and sophomore Sarah Fujimori carded 42 and 45, respectively, for Menlo.
Sacred Heart Prep (5-7, 5-6) will also be in action Tuesday, traveling to Crystal Springs Golf Course to meet Mercy Burlingame (4-6) at 3 p.m.
Castilleja (8-2) travels to San Jose Muni for a match Wednesday against Notre Dame San Jose (3-7).
