Gunn choir wins 'radio sing-off'

Local singers honored by classical station KDFC

Congratulations are in order for Gunn High School's concert choir, which won San Francisco classical radio station KDFC's "Local Vocals High School Choir Sing-Off," the station announced this week.

Gunn's choir will appear on the national youth talent radio show NPR's "From the Top with Host Christopher O’Riley" at U.C. Berkeley's Zellerbach Hall in March. Gunn's ensemble was chosen to be a finalist by a panel of judges, then earned the top spot by garnering the most votes by KDFC listeners.
