PUBLIC AGENDA: rezoning proposals; retail projects

 

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of Oct. 2.

CITY COUNCIL... The council plans to meet in a joint with the Human Relations Commission and hold two study sessions to discuss proposals to rezone 2321 Wellesley St. and 470 Olive Ave. The council also plans to amend the Fiscal Year 2018 Municipal Fee schedule to reflect the Cost of Services Study for development services. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. View the full agenda here.

UTILITIES ADVISORY COMMISSION ... The commission plans to hold a Community Strategic Planning Workshop at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, in the Palo Alto Art Center Auditorium, 1313 Newell Road. View the full agenda here.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD ... The board plans to review a proposal for 3001 El Camino Real, which includes two buildings with 19,800 square feet of retail and 50 total units; and review a proposal for exterior improvements at an existing hotel at 180 Hamilton Ave. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. View the full agenda here.
