The Bobcats used a strong defensive effort and perfect shooting to jump to an early lead, forcing Menlo to call an early timeout.

The game fluctuated until the Oaks took the lead for good on a Paine 3-pointer with 14:14 remaining in the first half, igniting a 12-0 Menlo run. The Oaks took a 45-32 lead into the break.

The Oaks held a double-digit advantage through the second half.

Jared Wall added 16 points and Brad Sawin had 11. Rosendo Amayawood added nine rebounds for the Oaks, who play Southern Oregon at 4 p.m. Saturday.
