50 years of Flamenco

 

Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco is marking five decades of lively Spanish dance and theater in the Bay Area. The company's dancers and musicians will perform at the Mountain View Center of the Performing Arts (500 Castro St.) on Friday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. For its golden anniversary, the company will feature numerous special guests, including Pastora Galván from Sevilla and singer Juana la del Pipa from Jerez de la Frontera, and director Carola Zertuche will present both new and reprised works. Tickets are $48-68. Go to Theatre Flamenco.
