Start the weekend off on a high note


Get ready for a medley of incredible voices, crazy riff-offs and mind-blowing solos at Menlo College's a cappella showcase on Friday, Sept. 9.

The show, which is part of the Entrepreneurial Summer Concert Series, will feature a cappella groups, including Funderstruck, Business Casual, Talk of the Town and the Boomerang Quartet, as well as food trucks, giveaways, beer and wine.

Business Casual is a six-person a cappella group based out of Palo Alto. The young vocal group puts a spin on vintage chart-toppers and today's hits.

The Boomerang Quartet is an old-school group that performs classic songs from the World War II era to the hits of the 1950s and 1960s.

The show starts at 5 p.m. at Menlo College, 1000 El Camino Real, Atherton.
