Raise a glass of vino to the end of summer

Take advantage of the summer-like weather this weekend and head to Vino Locale in downtown Palo Alto to enjoy an evening of wine tasting and live music.

Musical talents this weekend include live operative jazz from Moy Eng and Bill Murphy on Thursday, Sept. 8, 7-9 p.m.; live Brazilian music with Pablo Riviere on Friday, Sept. 9, 7-9 p.m.; live music from Henry Hughes and Dillon Scheel on Saturday, Sept. 10, 5-6:30 p.m. and Paul Renslow at 7 p.m.; and finally, the musical stylings of Aaron Jaqua and Jerry Logan on Sunday, Sept. 11, 7-9 p.m.

Dinner options are available for purchase including a charcuterie plate, mushroom tart and bacon-wrapped dates, among other items.

Red, wine and sparkling wines are available by the glass and bottle. Try one of three flights, which feature four half glasses and cost between $20 and $28 (add cheese pairing for $10).
