International Dance Festival @ Silicon Valley marks five years

Live performance features a variety of dance styles

The International Dance Festival @ Silicon Valley celebrates its fifth year of hosting workshops in a range of dance styles for dancers of all levels, from absolute beginner to expert, with a finale performance on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 5 p.m. at the Mountain View Masonic Center, 890 Church St.

The festival concert will feature Antara Bhardwaj (kathak); Audreyanne Covarrubias and Megan Ivey (tap and physical comedy); Leslie Friedman (contemporary); Navia Natarajan (bharatanatyam); and Etta Walton (line dance), plus other special guests. General admission is $20/$12 for seniors and kids under 10. Refreshments are included.
