Stanford Dish area to close down for five days

Matadero Creek Trail will remain open during scheduled maintenance

The Stanford Dish area will be closed to the public Aug. 15-19 for maintenance, according to an announcement from Stanford University.

Maintenance work, which will take place in and around the popular recreational area, includes service road and walking path maintenance, storm-pipe repair and tree watering and mulching.

The area is expected to reopen on Aug. 20, and will remain open during the rest of summer and through fall.

The Matadero Creek Trail, which is located at the intersection of Page Mill Road and Foothill Expressway, will remain open.

For updates and more information on the closure, email CommunityRelations@stanford.edu or visit dish.stanford.edu.
