PUBLIC AGENDA: developments on Arastradero Road and University Avenue

 

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of Aug. 1.

CITY COUNCIL ... The council is on break until Aug. 14.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD ... The board plans to discuss 639 Arastradero Road, a request by Michael Ma on behalf of Catherine Shen to demolish two existing one-story buildings and to build three new single-family homes. The board will also consider an appeal of the Director of Planning and Community Environment's approval of a 31,407-square-foot, four-story, mixed-use building at 429 University Ave. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.
