PUBLIC AGENDA: secondary-dwelling units, school budget

 

A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of July 25.

CITY COUNCIL ... The council is on break until Aug. 14.

PLANNING AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ... The commission plans to hold a study session on secondary-dwelling units; and a public hearing to consider a draft ordinance updating the city's below-market-rate program and adopting new affordable-housing impact fees for new developments. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. Read the agenda here.

BOARD OF EDUCATION ... The school board will convene for a special budget study session to discuss an unanticipated change in property tax revenue. The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at the district office, 25 Churchill Ave. Read the agenda here.

HISTORIC RESOURCES BOARD ... The board plans to make a recommendation to the council about adoption of Professorville Historic District Design Guidelines. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.
