Obon Festival & Bazaar

 

The Mountain View Buddhist Temple Obon Festival & Bazaar, featuring Taiko drums, Japanese food, cultural displays, games and activities for kids, and traditional Odori dancing, will be held Saturday, July 16 (4-10 p.m.), and Sunday, July 17 (noon-9 p.m.) at 575 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View. The event celebrates, Obon, the traditional Japanese Buddhist festival honoring the spirits of ancestors. Admission is free.
