'Sweeney Todd'

Like musicals that are a bit on the goth side? Peninsula Youth Theatre will present Stephen Sondheim's grisly, Victorian London-set musical "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" July 8-10 at Mountain View's Center for Performing Arts (second stage). It's the darkly comic tale about a wronged barber who takes revenge on his customers, and this production stars local teens. Performances will be held at 500 Castro St., Mountain View, Thursdays-Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $22. Go to PYT.
