'Antara Asthaayi: Tale of a Kathaka'

 

EnActe Arts presents the world premiere of "Antara Asthaayi: Tale of a Kathaka," a musical-dance piece about what it means to be a storyteller in modern times, told through the ancient North Indian art of Kathak dance. Dancer Antara Bhardwaj is joined by a group of internationally renowned musicians for the performance, which will take place Saturday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View. Tickets are $23-$103 (prices vary by seating area). Go to Enacte.
