Former Palo Alto great Adams to host a local football camp

Former Palo Alto High football standout Davante Adams returns to his home field to host a skills camp at the high school on Saturday, June 25 between 9 am and 2 pm.

The event page for the camp lists the cost as $50 and the age range as 8 to 18 years.

Adams graduated from Paly in 2011 after leading the Vikings to the CIF state championship as a two-way starter. He spent two years at Fresno State before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round in 2014.

In 29 regular season games in the NFL, Adams has 88 receptions for 929 yards and four touchdowns.

It will be the first football camp that Adams will host, along with coaches and trainers.

The camp is organized by Creative Marketing and AIA Sports Marketing.

Davante graduated in 2011. The state championship was won in December 2010. I should know because I was there and my son played defense.
