East Palo Alto Arts & Music Fest

 

The fifth-annual East Palo Alto Arts & Music Fest, featuring art and graffiti workshops, a T-shirt station, interactive booths, a skate competition, multicultural food, and live music (including a performance by Soji & Edgardo) will be held Saturday, May 28, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bell Street Park, East Palo Alto. The free, family-friendly event is sponsored by The East Palo Alto Youth Arts and Music Center Project, Live In Peace, Inc, YAMC's Youth Action Team, a variety of local artists, and the City of East Palo Alto, with the goal of fostering civic pride and community spirit. The 33rd Annual Palo Alto Weekly Short Story Contest is now accepting entries for Adult, Young Adult (15-17) and Teen (12-14) categories. Send us your short story (2,500 words or less) and entry form by March 29. First, Second and Third Place prizes awarded in each category.
