Teens staying at Ronald McDonald House at Stanford get dolled up for prom

Teen girls staying at Ronald McDonald House at Stanford got the full beauty treatment before attending the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital School's prom on Friday, May 20.

The large conference room at Ronald McDonald House transformed into a salon and hair stylists as makeup artists from the Tamer Mickell and Reconnect hair salons in Burlingame helped the girls, ages 6 to 18, primp for the big night.

Ronald McDonald House also provided corsages and boutonnieres for promgoers. The prom, which was open to all families staying at Ronald McDonald House, former patients and their siblings, was held at the cafeteria at the children's hospital.
