Silicon Valley Open Studios continues

Locals artists welcome the public to their workspaces

Ever wanted a peek into the artistic process? Local fine artists in a variety of media will present their studios to the public during the first three weekends of May as part of Silicon Valley Open Studios (SVOS), now in its 30th year. Hundreds of artists will showcase their works at studio spaces all over the peninsula, including locations in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Mountain View, Stanford, Woodside, Portola Valley, Menlo Park, and Los Altos.

Nineteen of the artists in Palo Alto's Cubberley Artist Studio Program (CASP) are among those who will open their studios this weekend, May 14 and 15, at Cubberley Community Center.

For detailed information on artists, locations, and dates, go to SVOS.

What a pleasant surprise to see my art in the Open Studio announcement. Please come visit me and the other talented artists who take the time and spend their energy preparing for your visit to see their artistic creations. Every artist has a different form of art to share with you and your friends and we all look forward to you coming to our exhibits.
