Stanford men place four on AVCA All-American team

The Stanford men's volleyball team had four players recognized when the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its All-America selections on Monday.

The Cardinal led the nation with three players selected to the first team -- seniors Conrad Kaminski and James Shaw, and sophomore Evan Enriques. Senior Madison Hayden received honorable-mention accolades.

The selections bring Stanford's total AVCA All-America award count to 55 honors spread over 25 players. It marks the second time in the past three seasons in which the Cardinal has produced four All-Americans.

Kaminski received his third career honor after picking up honorable-mention accolades in 2014 and 2015. Shaw was recognized by the AVCA for the second time as he was a second-team member in 2014. Enriques and Hayden are honored for the first time in their careers.
