Singles seminar and dance party

Nice guys don't have to finish last! Opal Nightclub, located in downtown Mountain View, is hosting a seminar and dance party on Saturday, Jan. 9, centered on the theme of "nice guys." Adults of all ages are welcome and dressy nightclub attire is required.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. with a seminar called, "Nice Guys Don't Have to Finish Last," with Elizabeth Cruz, founder of A Tiny Change, a coaching method that teaches communication and connection skills for men, and David Mitchell, a men's group facilitator and coach.

The dance party with DJ Audio 1 playing top hits will start at 8:30 p.m.

Cost is $20 at the door. The event is co-sponsored by The Society of Single Professionals, a nonprofit singles organization.
