Rock out for a good cause

Children's Health Council to host Rocktoberfest

Are you 21 years old or older? Looking to support a good cause, and have fun doing it? Check out Rocktoberfest, a charity gala and live music event hosted by the Children's Health Council (CHC) in Woodside this Saturday.

Music lovers, foodies and supporters of CHC are invited to enjoy gourmet food, artisan beer and wine, and dancing under the stars to the rock 'n' roll tunes of San Francisco cover band Pop Rocks.

The event takes place this Saturday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the National Center for Equine Facilitated Therapy, 880 Runnymede Road, Woodside. Tickets are $125 per person, and

$135 at the door. All funds raised go to support the CHC's programs that serve children and families facing ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety and depression.

To learn more, go to chconline.org/rocktoberfest or call 650-688-3625.
