PUBLIC AGENDA: renovation and expansion of Avenidas, Public Art Master Plan


A preview of Palo Alto government meetings for the week of July 20.

CITY COUNCIL ... The council has no meetings scheduled this week.

HISTORIC RESOURCES BOARD ... The board will discuss 430 Forest Ave., a proposal to demolish an existing one-story office building and build two new residential buildings: a two-story building with two townhomes and a three-story building with 10 apartments. The board will also discuss the proposed renovation and expansion of Avenidas at 450 Bryant St. The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.

PUBLIC ART COMMISSION ... The commission plans to discuss the Public Art Master Plan, consider approving several temporary public-art installations at King Plaza, and hear an update on the Highway 101 Bike and Pedestrian Bridge project. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, in the Community Meeting Room at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave.
