  1. When the article says

“• City of Palo Alto offices — closed
    • Development Services Center — closed”

Do they mean Friday, July 3? Isn’t clear.

  2. This article is very sloppily written.
I can tell you that the post office will be open July 3.

City office – who knows? How often do they work on Friday anyway?
Caltrain will run a normal Friday schedule if there is not a fatality.
Note that Stanford Marguerite will have very limited service on Friday.

  3. @chris:

Looking at the City of Palo Alto website, it appears that the city’s administrative offices are closed every other Friday, and July 3rd falls on the normally scheduled closure.

The City of Mountain View’s offices are also closed on the 3rd, even though they are usually open on Fridays.
