Menlo walks off with a victory in game two of a doubleheader


Riley Drongesen doubled home the tying runs in the sixth and Eduardo Sanchez singled home the winning run in the seventh as the Menlo College baseball team walked off with a 9-8 victory over visiting Oregon Tech in the nightcap of a nonconference doubleheader Sunday.

Oregon Tech won the first game, 14-7, as Menlo's Dan Comstock tripled, doubled twice and drove in two runs.

The Oaks (11-6) host Grace University for three games beginning Friday at 2 p.m. The teams play a doubleheader Saturday at 11 a.m.
