Menlo women picked to win fourth Cal Pac hoops title


The Menlo College women's basketball team is predicted to win its fourth straight Cal Pac Conference in a vote by the coaches released Wednesday.

The Oaks (25-6 last year) are also ranked 18th in the NAIA Division II preseason poll.

Menlo, which opens its season Friday against Biola at 7 p.m., returns every player from last year's championship team, including All-Americans Jolise Limcaco and Laurel Donnenwirth.

In other news, Stanford senior Amber Orrange was named to the five-person preseason All-Pac-12 Team as voted on by the media who regularly cover the conference's women's basketball squads it was announced on Wednesday.
