Firefighters control Los Altos Hills two-alarm house fire

Firefighters have controlled a two-alarm house fire in Los Altos Hills near Interstate Highway 280 yesterday evening, a Santa Clara County fire dispatcher said.

Shortly before 5 p.m., fire crews responded to a report of a fire in the 13000 block of La Cresta Drive, east of Highway 280 at Arastradero Road, the dispatcher said.

Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle on fire inside a garage and called for a second alarm about 10 minutes later, according to the dispatcher.

The blaze was under control around at about 5:40 p.m., the dispatcher said.

No injuries were reported. No further details were immediately available.
