Fremont man fatally shot in East Palo Alto

 

Police are investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man from Fremont dead on Friday, Oct. 3.

Police said officers responded at 5:08 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of Laurel Avenue and located Mark Madden, 20, of Fremont, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Madden was pronounced dead at the scene.

East Palo Alto police are asking anyone with information on the homicide to call 650-321-112. Anonymous tips can be emailed to epa@tipnow.org or text or leave voice message at 650-409-6792.

What were the circumstances of this murder - was it a random shooting, robbery, drug deal gone bad, carjacking, disagreement ???
