The United States women’s senior national soccer team completes its two-game series with France on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. (PT) in East Hartford, Conn.

The Americans (7-2-2 on the year) are coming off a 1-0 win over the French on Saturday, in which goalie Hope Solo tied the U.S. record, with Briana Scurry, for shutouts with 71.

Sydney Leroux scored the long goal of the contest, getting an assist from Stanford grad Christen Press, her second of the year.

Press has scored four goals, second only to Leroux’s seven, for the Americans. She has scored 12 times through her first 23 games with the national team.

The U.S. brings an 83-game unbeaten streak (73-0-10 since Nov. 6, 2004) on home soil into Thursday’s match and is 14-0-1 all-time against the French, outstanding them 46-11.

Stanford grad Kelley O’Hara, who has played mostly defense in her time with the U.S., will be training at forward, where she is currently playing for her NWSL club Sky Blue FC and where she starred with the Cardinal.
