Jazz: Kim Nalley Band

Grammy-nominated jazz and blues singer Kim Nalley plays the Stanford Jazz Festival with her band and saxophonist Houston Person today, July 5, at 8 p.m. The concert is in Campbell Recital Hall in the Braun Music Center on the Stanford University campus. Tickets are $45 general and $15 for students. Go to stanfordjazz.org.

Music: Cash Tribute

Downtown Redwood City's Courthouse Square hosts a free al fresco show today, July 5, by Cash Tribute, a band dedicated to the music of the Man in Black. The Friday concerts are 6 to 8 p.m. through Sept. 27. Next up: the Beach Boys tribute band Surfin' Safari, on July 12. Go to redwoodcity.org.
