• Community: Hanukkah party

Candle-lighting, songs, games and traditional Israeli jelly donuts are the elements of the community Hanukkah party being held from 6 to 7 p.m. tomorrow (Dec. 21) at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. The event is free, and party-goers are invited to bring their own menorahs and candles. Go to paloaltojcc.org.

• Music: Dave Rocha Jazz Group

Tomorrow (Dec. 21) at 12:30 p.m., the Dave Rocha Jazz Group plays a free concert of American jazz standards in the Stanford Hospital atrium. The weekly concert series brings a mix of musical styles for patients, hospital staff and visitors to hear. Rocha is a longtime Bay Area trumpeter. Go to stanfordhospital.org.
