Painter Michelle Stitz, who layers paint with epoxy resin and recycled materials inside steel-box frames, is showing her work through Jan. 31 at Bryant Street Gallery, 532 Bryant St., Palo Alto. The free exhibition is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Thursdays until 7. Go to bryantstreet.com.

• Music: Michael Griego

Classical guitarist Michael Griego plays a free show of holiday music tomorrow (Dec. 20) at 7 p.m. at Red Rock Coffee, 201 Castro St., Mountain View. Griego, a Mountain View resident, spices his guitar style with a flamenco influence. Go to redrockcoffee.org.
