• Film: 'A Matter of Size'

As part of the Silicon Valley Jewish Film Festival, "A Matter of Size," about some hefty Israelis trying to become sumo wrestlers, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Nov. 17) at the Cubberley Community Center, 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. • Theater: 'Almost, Maine'

The John Cariani play "Almost, Maine," a comedy set in a far-off, mythical town, previews tomorrow (Nov. 17) at 8 p.m. and then runs through Dec. 18 at the Bus Barn Theatre, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos. Tickets are $24-$32; go to busbarn.org.
