• Film: 'A Kristallnacht Remembrance'

A documentary of the friendship of Max Drimmer and Herman Shine, their escape from Auschwitz, and their journey to new lives in the Bay Area will be shown today (Nov. 9) at 8 p.m. at Congregation Kol Emeth, 4175 Manuela Ave., Palo Alto. • On stage: 'Our Town'
