• Children: Cynthia Chin-Lee

Palo Alto author Cynthia Chin-Lee gives a talk at 4 p.m. today (Nov. 2) on her picture book "Operation Marriage," about two siblings and their two moms. The event is at Kepler's Books, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park. The book is set in the Bay Area just before the passage of Proposition 8, when the two women decide to get married, and their neighbors learn to see past their prejudices against same-sex marriage.
