Palo Alto Elite Volleyball Club holds tryouts


The Palo Alto Elite Volleyball Club will be holding tryouts this weekend at Cubberley Community Center for the 2012 season. The tryouts will be held in gyms A and B. The school is located at 4000 Middlefield Road.

The schedule for Saturday features power tryouts for advanced players only:

8th & 10th grades will be from 9-11:30 a.m.; 7th & 9th grades from noon to 2:30 p.m. and 6th grade from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

On Sunday, there will be area tryouts for novice to intermediate players -- 7th and 8th grades from 9-11:30 a.m. and 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades from 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Makeup tryouts will be held Saturday, Nov. 12.
