Police have identified the suspect in a recent armed robbery in downtown Palo Alto and are trying to track him down, Palo Alto police said Friday.
Emanuel Abazan, 18, of Redwood City, is a suspect in the Oct. 20 armed robbery.
A lone gunman approached a woman who was walking with a friend in the 300 block of Ramona Street around 11 p.m. The man approached from behind, showed a small handgun and demanded the woman's purse. The woman complied and the suspect fled in a car, police said.
