•Music: CCRMA 'Cabaret 2.0'

This CCRMA cabaret concert will feature rarely performed pieces by John Cage: "Water Music" and the "Sonatas and Interludes" for prepared piano today (Oct. 24) at 8:45 p.m. at CCRMA, 660 Lomita Drive, Stanford. For more information, visit CCRMA.

•'Where Art Originates'

Laurie Frick (visual artist, Austin, Texas); Hafez Modirzadeh (composer, San Jose), and Katherine Sherwood (visual artist, Rodeo, Calif.)will speak as part of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program today (Oct. 24) at 7 p.m. at Palo Alto Children's Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
