Stanford men get verbal from blue chip recruit

Blue chip men's tennis recruit Nolan Paige gave his verbal commitment to Stanford just before his senior year at Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut, tennisrecruiting.net reported.

Stanford's academic reputation was an important part of the decision for Paige, who was born in New York and raised in Connecticut.

Paige was ranked as high as fifth in the nation last year as a junior player. He's rated the 14th overall recruit.

Paige also played basketball in high school.
