■ Movies: ‘Mary Poppins’

A free outdoor showing of the 1964 Julie Andrews classic film “Mary Poppins” is scheduled for tomorrow (Aug. 25) at sundown (around 8 p.m.) at Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City. Some chairs and tables are available, but audience members often bring blankets and picnic dinners. The showing is part of the city’s summer series; weekly screenings are scheduled through Oct. 6.
