■ Art: 'Coffee, Art & Chocolate

Tomorrow (Aug. 12) from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Pacific Art League at 668 Ramona St. in Palo Alto hosts "Coffee, Art & Chocolate." At the free coffee, attendees discuss issues of art and contemporary culture; the art league's board president, Joy Chase, and its executive director, Ric Ambrose, will attend tomorrow. ■ Music: Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88's

Jump blues, boogie and swing are on the agenda when Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88's play a free concert tomorrow (Aug. 12) from 6 to 8 p.m. The show is outdoors on Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City, part of the city's concert series that runs through Oct. 7. Go to redwoodcity.org.
